Did you tell the invitation place what you want said on the direction cards? For those of you who have a lot of OOT guests coming from upstate, how are you writing the directions? Are you starting from L.I? Also, is anyone having a lot of guests from Boston/new England? I have no idea how explicit I should be on the directions. Please help....

I asked my rh for direction cards and they gave it to me for free. Ask them because those will have directions coming from everywhere.

well. your reception hall should have directions already written so you can use those. I am going to add a little to the ones my RH b/c it's a little vague in my opinion for people that aren't around here.
Same thing for your hotel...use the directions they give you.

RHs always provide direction cards. But if you want to have your enter invitation coordinated then u just have to provide the directions to the place doing ur invites. Its not that much extra

We were going to order them but our hall provides some that actually match our invites almost perfectly, so we are just going to use those.

i used what the halls direction cards said but did my own art/layout. I always hated direction cards from anywhere else because they really don't consider the look of them nor the ability to read them very well when driving.
I had also made a hotel card with directions from the hotel to the catering hall as well ( didn't put that up here)
