Question about Engagement Pictures - Sunset on Long Island

Hello Everyone,

I am starting to think about a location for our engagement photo shoot. We want to have pics taken at a beach on Long Island. Does anyone know the best beach to takes pics at where the sunset is most beautiful? Somewhere near Long Beach perhaps?

I live near Robert Moses, but because it is the south shore, you don't see much of the sunset. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

trust me, anywhere you take pictures on the beach you will get amazing shots depending on your photgrapher.
if you want sunset shots, ask to go later in the day to get them.
i know my photographer told me the best time of day to take pics is around 1-3pm because of the natural light
