I usually book trips through travel agents but found a great price on expedia. The price is too hard to pass up but am reluctant because I tend to have bad luck with anything. I wanted to hear feed back on people who might have used this site or any other travel sites.

i use expedia ALL the time. it's great. I book almost all my trips on it.
for my PR trip, my flight on expedia was $200 less than what i found on jetblue. I've used it for hotels, flights, etc. Never any problems with it.
i would check the website of the airline they give you just to see if it's slightly cheaper. fh just booked his hotel for vegas and it was about $30 cheaper on the hotel's site than on expedia's. not a big difference but it helps

We were planning on going to vegas but i really want to go to san fransico. The hotel's price is way lower then their site and the airfaire is unbeatable too. I just have really bad luck. Fh had a trip planned to vegas last year and every flight leaving jfk and laguardia were cancelled from a freak lightening storm, he couldnt get on another flight for 2 days and ended up not going at all. This is the luck we have.

I just found an excellent price on expedia for my flight and hotel in alaska for my honeymoon. I was going to book the flights direct with delta for $1500 - but the package I am getting from expedia gave me our flights AND 7 nights in a hotel for $1800!!!!! I am just going to check with a travel agent to make sure I can't get a better deal on anything.

I use them ALL the Time.
I have also used cheaptickets.com, once they were cheaper than expedia and I had a great experience.

FMIL is a TA and says that she hates when people book onlinbe because often they make a mistake or want to change something and they cant. they try calling TAs to help but TAs cant do anything abuot it and often there is no one to call
