Question about Father/Daughter Dance

Question about Father/Daughter Dance

Okay, so I haven't picked a song yet, but I had a question about it. Does anyone know if the song is supposed to be a dedication to the father or a dedication to the daughter or does it matter? I am just wondering because I really like the song My Wish by Rascal Flatts but if you listen to the words, it is really more like a father's wish to his daughter, not a daughter's wish to her father.

Do you girls kinda understand what I'm talking about? I know I can be very confusing.

Just wondering what you girls thoughts are on the father/daughter dance. Is it a song from a father to a daughter or a daughter to a father?

I don't think it matters at all... It just matters that this is your moment with you dad. You can pick whatever song you want and everyone will love it!

I don't think it matters either. It's supossed to be a song that means something to you, your dadd, or both of you. I picked Daddy's Little Girl by Michael Buble, because it's perfect for us. Though I'm still open to ideas. I don't think I've heard the Rascal Flatts song but it sounds nice. I think it's nice to dance to something like that because your dad is giving you away on your wedding day.
