Is you fh really into planning the wedding and all excited.. or did you have to 'kick him in the butt' andsay we are getting married?
then reason y i asked is b/c my fh keeps telling to relax and well book everything at the end of 2008. Which i explained to him that with the condition i have right now with stress I really dont want to wait until last minute to start looking for things!

Nope mine is REALLY into the wedding. Hes into the flowers and the clothes, and everything that comes along with it...
but fh is also an odd ball... lol

mine isn't really into the whole planning thing. i've been pacing myself w/the planning though, so i'm not overwhelming him w/everything all at once.

well my fh thought we were done once we booked the RH I want to have everything planned by the end of 2008 but I want to have the major vendors booked ASAP...we already got the RH, chruch and DJ...I have been begging him to start looking at photographers but he keeps saying we'll do it soon. He is definitely much more relaxed about planning. Basically, I tell him what I like to 'get his opinion/feedback' and he tells me okay (b/c he doesn't really have much of an opinion on a lot of the planning)

i feel like i have to kick some @ss for him to get to do anything, but then again we're in a rut so I dunno when we'll be getting married. Hopefully once january comes we'll know, and he'll be more into it.

we got onto the sub of centerpieces yesterday and surprisingly fh was completely into it! he shocks me somtimes
hes into it but doesnt make it known...

He is, and he like to give his input but he told me to take xmas season with peace without going crazy about wedding related b/c next year we are going to be 3 1/2 months to the wedding so we are going to have alot of things going on

Oh man Gina..they are so alike...FH is pretty laid back about wedding things. He is into planning and goes with me on all appointments but usually his answers are 'Whatever you think Lauren.' However, we got onto the topic of centerpieces as well and he had tons of requirements!! No high centerpieces, tons of candles, not too many flowers...different size candles...hes nuts...but i love it!

Hahaha soooo hysterical!!! we were dicussing how we dont want to spend 1000s on flowers... so then started talkin about candles but we're in the afternoon so not sure how that would work... and we both agreed... spending 10 bucks somehow on centerpieces would be 'veryyyyy niiiiice'

I love it! Hmmm..what about some sort of center 'thing' (no flowers) with flower petals around it?

my fh is really into the planning actually. he wants to get everything booked as soon as we can so that we know how much we are going to need to have saved for the big day. hes just as into the planning as i am!

FH is crazy about planning but in a good way. We are going to meet a DJ tonight and he just told me how excited he is. He wants our wedding to be something everyone remembers and the wedding of my dreams. He is into every detail and its awesome

FH is really into it....he used to be a manager at a huge venue in the city....so is VERY picky about EVERYTHING!

FH is definitely into it! He wants our wedding to be something special. I am the one that makes the appointments.... but he is with me all the way.... he said the only thing he doesn't want to be part of is the DRESS(obviously) and hair and makeup---that's just out of his league lol lol... but otherwise he comes to EVERYTHING with me and GETS EXCITED TOO

FH and I had a conversation about this a few weeks ago. I feel like I am doing 100% of the work, while he feels we're splitting it 50/50. I do all the research for vendors and then pose the ones I like to him. It would be nice if for once he offered to make a phone call or book an appointment. It's kind of frustrating but my FH is a very laid back kind of guy, so I have to accept that this is who he is. In addition I know I have certain expectations of vendors, and he could care less so he feels like let me find the ones I like and then he'll help choose from there.

FH is really not into it, he wants to know the budget and the colors and thats it but, if i ask his opinion about different things then he pays attention and he will help out

He's more or less into it. Some things he really doesn't care too much about, like flowers, and other things will probably be entirely his decision, like the dj.
