Question about final payment for the Hall
does the sales tax get added on to the 18% 'service charge' as well, or just to the price per person?

you should ask your hall. Some places may do it differently. That's why I say that.

unfortunately ours was - we tried to argue against it but they would not hear it. but we did get them to use the new lower tax rate.
