When am I supposed to book this vendor. I feel like I know nothing about flowers or what I need for the wedding. My provides CP' s, which is fine with me. I know I need bouquets for myself and the bridesmaids, but do I really need flowers for the church? ( I feel like my church is decorative enough) And are there any other flowers I am supposed to have?Thanks.

I would think anytime this summer would be a great time to book your florist...I didn't have a clue what I wanted flower wise but knew what colors I wanted...I went to Pedestals & worked with Robert...He gave me so many ideas & helped me envision exactly what I wanted...I don't have to finalize the colors & what not til 2 months prior....
If your hall provides CP's, then you would only need your BOK, BM BOK, Buts for the groom & groosmen plus fathers & grandfathers....Depending on your mom's preference, either a bok or corsage for them...Corsages or buts for readers & church arrangements...

Most florists will work with you to help you figure out exactly what you want. I think that this summer is a good time for you to starty looking. I got a lot of ideas from the bo-k thread and bridal magazines.

thanks for the info. I will start looking into florists now and checking out old threads. This is the one vendor I feel I know little about.

I would do it this summer.....go talk to them look through some books ...you will get a better idea of what you want when you find out whats avaible ....

I didn't know much either. This is one area that the bridal expos really helped me with. I actually found my florist through the expo. Then I did searches of florists on here and printed pics of what I wanted. My florist really created exactly what I envisioned. good luck!
