Question.... My FH has two sister who will not be in my bridal party... for no other reason than I just don't want to have a million girls in my bridal party and FH is totally fine with that. Is it appropriate to give them a small gift just to show them that I as their new SIL appreciate them and their support. I'm thinking I would give them this gift at the rehersal dinner when the BMs open their gift. I guess what I'm asking is, is getting them a gift something I should do since their not in the bridal party and if I do decide to get them something, do I get them what I'm getting the bridal party or something different. I'm confusing myself!!! AHHH!

Re: Question about FSIL's
giving them a gift is a sweet gesture...maybe hold off on doing it with the bridal party...might confuse any guests at the RD and the wedding the next day.

Re: Question about FSIL's
that is a really sweet idea and i may steal it - my sister is not in the BP because I want a really small one - i think you should give them something different from the BP gifts though - something more personal!

Re: Question about FSIL's
A life long friend got married about 2 years ago. I was not in her bridal party because she only wanted family. But what she did was make a 2 of us 'honorary bridesmaids'. We got to party with her for all the bridesmaid things, but we didn't have the dress and didn't have to walk up the aisle. At the rehersal dinner, she called us up and told the story, and gave us necklaces to wear at the wedding.

Re: Question about FSIL's
I am in a similiar situation, and I was suprised to see your opinions on this..Now I am a little nervous! Here's the thing..FH has only one sister, but 2 SIL's. Although none of them are in our BP, his sister is doing a reading. They will all be at the RD, so what do I do?? Do you think I should get them all something too, other than the BM's? I was planning on giving his sister an engraved bracelet, since she is a reader..HELP

Re: Question about FSIL's
Hmmmm... are you close with his SIL's? Is he close with his SIL's? Because if not, I wouldn't really worry about it, especially if there not doing anything like a reading or anything like that. I guess that's another sticky situation though. Good luck!
