Hey guys, so I have a hair trial with Tarale this Sunday, any recommendations as to what to tell her....I'm debating to do my hair half up or half down or all up...I alway always where my hair down, but ppl like it when its up, they say they can see my face more (well, obviously)....Will she try it both ways for me, or is that a pain. I also have a makeup trial and hair trial with Oksana and the Hair Genie respectively this coming Tuesday. I'll post pics, that is if I don't come out looking like the Bride of Frankenstein!!!
Any info as to what you guys may have told the girls during your trial would be helpful!!!

Sounds like fun. Bring pictures of the look you are trying to achieve. It is easier then explaining. Have fun!

Thanks I have a huge folder of pictures, but thyey are like half of hair half up half down, and half of them are of pictures of them just up in an updo, and I want to see which one I like better with my face...do they usually try a few different ways

I think it is one try per appointment. I am with you, debating what to do. I think you have to go back each time you want to try a new style. I am not totally sure tho and do not have a trial until Dec. Let me know how it goes!

Ugh, that sucks if its one and I keep having to go back...My dress is really beaded up top, and thought that my hair down would make it too busy...but I'm just not used to my hair up...confusing!!!

Before she does anything, show her your pics and let her (this is what she is expert at!) give her opinions. While it is typically one 'formal style' per trial, I would imagine, especially if you had to trek out to see her then she would play with your hair to get a sense of up v. down.

I would ask if she could do it half up half down and then if you do not like it - she can pin up the back to resemble what the general impression of the updo might look like...
It doesn't hurt to ask! (That is what I am going to do at least!)

I think it depends on the stylist. I would ask. Most are flexible.

Well, just from looking at you in the picture I see, I could tell that you are one to always where your hair down. I do as well. Just to give you a piece of advice someone gave to me...Just remember that you want to look back at your pictures and look like YOU. Half up is a good idea. I'll look for your pictures!!! Good luck!!

I haven't even given any thought as to how I want my hair for that day. Honestly, I thought it was too early to think about it, but Pickles you're getting married after me so I think I should problably start working on that myself.
Let me know how it goes. This will be new to me so it would be nice to get some advice.
