is it possible to transfer in grad school? Dumb question, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

depends on the program and school. most programs want you to take most of the classes with them and will only accept a few outside credits. you can def contact the program you are interested in switching into and see what their policy is. hope it works out for ya.

I'm thinking about taking 1 class elsewhere. What do you think are the chances? 3-5 credits tops.

IT depends...i was thinking on transferring from Hofstra to Stony Brook, and SB would accept 12 credits.

I think most places would definitely let you transfer in 1 class. I transferred in two to my Master's program.
