Question about GTG tomorrow

I can't eat meat tomorrow. And I don't like fish.Does Shiro have anything else for me to eat?

I can't eat meat tomorrow either but I was going to have shrimp. I am not sure, you should ask Christine (Rob-luvs-me).

I know that other hibachi places do shrimp and someplaces do salmon on the hibachi.

They do have sushi but not sure if you can get it for a meal you may have to order a meal - you might want to call and ask BUT they do have (I know some of these you CAN'T eat - but they have Fillet mignon, chicken, shimp, salmon, scallops, lobster, and not sure what else but you get soup, salad, shrimp app, rice, veggies and either noodles, or bean sprouts.) I would think they might let you get a veggie dinner (all the extras just no meat) and order either tempura, or some sort of sushi. See I usually don't follow the meat but Rob does - but he eats fish so I never thought about it. Sorry Marcela

Marcela I called them and they said you can get the meal vegitarian style supposedly. If you do not eat anything mentioned above

Sorry ladies don't mean to intrude but I go to Shiro's almost every Friday and rest assured they have other things other than beef. They have chicken (hibachi style or teriyaki) and many vegetable dishes. They have california rolls and every other type of sushi you could want. You guys are gonna have a blast so enjoy!!!!!

P.S if more than 8 girls are going make sure they seat you at adjacent tables b/c only 8-10 people fit per table.

Thank you curly maybe we have seen each other there I eat there all the time - I wasn't sure about what marcela could eat b/c she said no fish or meat - so I assume chicken is out too?
Hey have you seen carol alt and yashin there? We see them there every so often. You know they are opening a benihana's down the block. I hope they don't lose too much business b/c I think they are much better.
Would you like to join us - We have a table for 8 but only 6 of us.

Hi Chrsitine,
We probably have been there together and didn't even knw it, lol. We go alot especially when they have the coupon speciass, LOL! We were there on Friday. Never seen Carol Alt. You are so right about Shiro's being better than Benihana's. I know all the chefs there (since we go so often ) and the rumor is that Benihan's went to Shiro's to recruit some chefs and no one budged. They were supposed to open on 1/15/03 but can't b/c of lack of chefs Have you tried Gasho's in Suffolk??

What coupon specials and how do you get them? I was just there on Sat night (my friend came home for Temple law for the weekend) so he insisted on going there. I don't get to go out there much anymore with my FH out of state and most of my friends moved out of state this year and with school work So I take every advantage to go there whenever I get the chance

No I have not been to that other restaurant - where is it? and is it as good?

You don't know abput the Shiro's coupon , LOL!!!!!

In Part 2 of Newsday on Friday's they have a special that is $27.50 for dinner for 2. Includes your choice of meal, etcc.....

Ah I don't get newsday - is it a regular deal - b/c if it is I will just get the newpaper whenever I go then..lol
