Question about Hair and Makeup

If you are having someone come to your house did you book for your bridesmaids as well? Or did you just book for yourself for now?

My BM's wont get back to me to let me know if they are going to get their hair and makeup done yet and I feel like I am waiting on them to find a reasonably priced person (cause I know they wont want to spend alot).. However I dont mind spending alot on myself that day. It is one of the most important things to me.

So with that being said do you think I should just look around and book who I like and if they decide its too much $ then they can fend for themselves that day? is that mean?

I didnt have to give a definite amount of people just yet. When it gets closer I'll have to tell them so they know how much time they will need to do everyone.

I booked who I wanted knowing that both mom's and 2 BM's were sure that they were going to use who I used. The other two can choose to use her as well or do their own thing. But my stylist had a minimum (she wouldn't travel for just the bride).

ETA: she said she could work on as many people as need be, but she just needed assurance that there would be a minimum number of girls.

i felt the exact same way...

i was willing to spend alot on myself, but my BMs werent going to want to spend 100$ on makeup.

so this is what i did...

i booked stacy pitt, her prices are super reasonable, so i'm just throwing in a few dollars towards their hair, so it would be about the same price for them as getting in done at a good salon

for makeup, i am (most likely) booking D. Minnella, since her prices are higher for BM, but not as high for me, i will give all of the girls 20$ towards their makeup. but i let them know that they don't have to get their MU done if they dont want to.

don't be afraid to let them fend for themselves! it will probably save them money and save time on the day of. it would def. be less hectic with less people gettingready with you. make sure if you do this though that whomever you book for yourself doesnt have a mimimum amount of bodies to travel to you.

I booked for myself for now. They aren't asking for the number of bridesmaids until it gets closer. I don't think it's mean. My girls aren't getting back to me either and if you like the people you've selected, then you should definitely book them for yourself. I'm leaving hair/make-up as optional for my girls since I'm not able to help offset the cost.

I just set up a trial with Danielle Minnella!! Can you FM me her prices. She sent me her prices but not the price for the trial! Also do you know if she has a minium to travel? I am not far from her I am actually a town over.

i only have someone for myself right now. i am up in the air about how many people she needs to bring with her. i want to do something simple with the girls, so depending on who is getting their hair done, i don't think i need too many people. but we'll see.
