Hey guys I have people staying over at my RH there are only 21 rooms there and NONE of the people are from out of town. They just all wanna stay overnight at a castle heeee So I think maybe I would like to put something in the room as a welcome sort of thing but I dont know what I would put in it. Can you guys give me some ideas.........I think Im all 'thunk' out from all these details

Re: Question about hotel bags??
For my guests, we made bags with mini toothpaste and toothbrushes, some Halloween candy (it was halloween weekend), Goldfish, water, granola bar, a pumpkin spice candle and our personalized matches. I think that was about it. For Oheka, it might be a nice idea to write up a little something about the history of the castle, I'm sure they have that info on their website.

We put bottles of water, chips, gum, candy, and stuff like that in our bags. I got everything at COSCO.

Re: Question about hotel bags??
I'm doing granola bars, goldfish, cookies, gum, fun sized candy, and water. Most of the people staying for my wedding aren't true OOT people either, they just are being smart about drinking and driving.
I'm going to put a list in of places to eat in the area as well and maybe places if someone needs something quickly since there's a decent gap between the church and reception (like if they forgot something).

I agree with everything above, but I have the say the best thing I received in an OOT bag was Gatorade. That's stuff is like magic elixir the day after a rough night

Re: Question about hotel bags??
i had a few 'non-oot' guests... this is what i did i included a thank you note that i found on here somewhere.
i put the stuff inside a gift bag... i thought about saving space... and if they consumed everything, there wouldn't be something they felt they 'had' to take home.
i put in a bottle of water per guest...with a personalized lable (they loved them) (real easy) goldfish crackers pretzels m&ms (native food) yogurt covered blueberries (native food) made-from-scratch cranberry scones (native food) tic tacs alka selzer advil day-of timeline note on native foods.
m&ms are manufactured in NJ blueberries are the state fruit NJ is the third largest producer of cranberries, we even have a town named after them
a lot of the 'locals' didn't even know this about their home state... and they told me how i gave them a NJ-lesson (they learned something)
along with the previous poster who mentioned providing info on the actual castle... you'd be surprised how little people know about what's in their 'backyard'
