How soon after bd can you take a test? I am very irregular with my af. I get it twice a month, so I was wondering - how soon is too soon?

I think the earliest you can take a test is 5 days before AF is due... Have you always gotten AF twice a month?

Unfortunately - yes - which is why i was taking the Depo shot every 3 months - but Ive been off of that for about a year - and I'm back to twice a month - just like before.

Do you know when the next time AF is due? If so maybe plan it so you can take a test 5 days before that.
ETA - Good Luck!!! I hope its a BFP

Okay we BD alot when I was ovulating- if my calculations are right I would be getting AF tomorrow- 8-26, I know I ovuated early so I counted 14 days and that brings me to 8-26, or should I wait and see if I get it the the 28th day which is 8-31 ????????? I had some blood in my discharge about 6 days ago, and it disappeared , sorry if TMI, and now an occasional cramp, I am dying to know, and I do not want to waste another expensive test. What would you do?

take the test. JMO - I could not wait another 2 days. But it may not show the results yet, so you may have to take the test again in a few more days. Sorry I was no help at all.

I would take the test if I were you - that means your like do for AF in the next day or so, Some of the tests you can do up to 5 days before. BUT - don't be discouraged if it doesnt show up yet!
