hey girls... just wondering when you booked with two or more hyatts, did they include the free breakfast upon booking or was that something they threw in when you got there? our travel agent is giving us the free breakfast daily at the Hyatt Regency in Maui but not at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai. I heard from a bunch of people that if we stay at 2 Hyatts for a honeymoon, breakfast is included in both automatically regardless of the package we have. Is this true and do they give you the breakfast anyway when you are there? Also, how are room upgrades in these properties? We're getting a garden room in one and a terrace room in another. Are these rooms the same size and do they readily upgrade you if you're a honeymooner?
Thanks!

Re: Question about Hyatts in Hawaii
The breakfast package isn't really an upgrade. It's a separate 'package' that your travel agent must or you must request at booking. Usually the difference in price of the room with it and without it is about $3 a night - a tremendous savings because if I remember correctly, the breakfast buffett at each hotel is about $27 a person!
As far as the rooms go, we usually get a the garden/mountain view rooms in both places and they are just fine. They will usually try to upgrade you one room category if you are on your HM and if there is room in the hotel. Again, this was done for us at booking.
Also, in both places you will receive presents because it is your HM. Usually a bottle of champagne and a photo album or something like that.
