Question About Imagine Studios

Hello!

FH and I visited Imagine the other day...I think I am in love with them!! Lia's work is absolutely phenomenal! And she, Nelson, and Paula are all so incredibly nice!

We have only visited a few photographers so far. FH agrees that Imagine's photographs are, by far, the best that we have seen. However, he was wondering how the quality of:

1) how they process the photographs
2) what they print the pictures on
3) the albums

compare with other top-notch photographers - ????

Could you ladies please share your thoughts on this? (If you would rather not post it here, please FM me.)

I saw Shamma96's wedding album and all I can say is INCREDIBLE. I love their work.

You should really ask them also because they know better than all of us. I bet they will be happy to answer all your questions in detail.

When we hired them, my FH had questions about how the film was processed (b&w film is processed by b&w processing as opposed to color processing which some places use because its cheaper - his words, not mine) and a bunch of technical questions that I know nothing about, but Lia was able to answer them all, and to his satisfaction. Hope that helps.

I never asked anything about processing or what not, all I know is I have seen our proofs and they look just like anyone else's who used a photographer on the same scale as Imagine. If you have any technical questions you should really call them. The only question we can answer is the quality and if we were happy with service etc. You will not be unhappy going with them of that I can assure you. If you do a search on here you will see quite a few Imagine brides.

The pix are not touched up etc, the album selection is good.

All I can say is my sister who isin the business talked shop with Lia and Nelson for a long time and was more than satisfied with their answers.

More importantly we are thrilled with our album, reprints, enlargements and video.

We were confused about albums in particular, b/c some photographers offer (what I have now learned is called) 'magazine style' where the pictures are printed directly onto the page with no height difference, while Imagine has the matted kind. I wasn't sure if one was higher quality than the other, but I have more of an idea now, and will definitely ask Imagine their thoughts too.
