Question about In-State tuition

Question about In-State tuition

I always got in-state tution in VA since my dad claimed me on his taxes, but Kev still doesn't because he has never paid taxes in VA...

He still has 2 years of school left after we get married - since I got in-state, and will be working in VA, does that mean he'll get in-state tuition as well? Because that would save us soooo much money (grad credits are double for out of state students over in-state students).

If you know anything about this and could help me I would appreciate it! I don't want to deal with the morons at the school. Thanks!

Re: Question about In-State tuition

perhpas it varies from state to state, but in order to pay in-state tuition at a CUNY, all i had to show was proof that i lived in NY for a year. contact his school to find out what you need.

i know for me, in order to get in state tuition, i had to show proof that i lived in new jersey for one year. i also had to show permanent residency (ie. nj voter registration and driver's license).
