Hi girls. My parents are helping with the wedding and have already given us the money. Right now it is sitting in a checking account that is not gaining much interest. We are considering moving a big chunk of it to an ING orange account. I have kind of a stupid question. Is the interest monthly? So if we put in $10K of it, we gain $400 a month? That seems too good to be true?
Any guidance? I am a little slow when it comes to numbers. Thanks!

Re: Question about ING accounts
I usually take it out about 3 days before I need it and it's there waiting when I do (I like to be safe just in case).

Re: Question about ING accounts
ING is great..but HSBC's rates are higher and you can get a card. With ING you have to wait 2 business days to withdraw/receive money you may want to take out. Good LUCK!

Re: Question about ING accounts
I have one of these accounts and they are great. You will get 4.35% per YEAR, so you'll get $435 for the year, about $36 a month.

ING is great. The above mosts are right about the interest. It's a terrific rate.

They have a great referral program too - you get $25 and I get $10 if I send you a referral link and you use that to open an account (with at least $250). I've done this with a few other LIW brides. FM me if you're interested and I will send you a link.
