When doing the envelopes when do you use Miss and when do you use Ms.?
Also, When writing out names do you do ... Mr. and Mrs. J. Doe OR Mr. and Mrs. John Doe

It is my understanding that some people use 'Ms.' for a single person who is over a certain age or a person who is divorced. I, personally will use 'Miss' for myself until I am married or for anyone else. It is my preference regardless of what proper ettiquette dictates.

i agree with goldi.. i beleive miss is a younger single person and ms. is an older single person/divorcee
