My RSVP has a 'no. of people attending' space. If I have a maximum of 2 people per invitation, how do I ensure that they respond with 2 people and not more???? Should I write the number of people invited on the RSVP?? If I do that where do they write how many are actually coming I am so confused. Does anyone know the correct etiquette??? TIA

Re: question about invitations
To be honest, you cant insure that people dont respond with more. You really just have to wait for the responses and if people respond with more than the number that were invited, you'll have to call them and tell them that you specifically only invited so-and-so.

Re: question about invitations
Yup, you can not really stop people from writing down the number of people they plan on bringing. This is posted all the time on the board. People are so rude and think you just forgot to invite all their kids and loved ones. Basically if they write down too many people, you just have to call them up and deal with it.

Re: question about invitations
You can put the names of those who are invited on the inner envelope. Hope that halps.
