Question about Invites

I am getting married June 29, 2006, which is the Thursday before 4th of July weekend. When should I...

1-being looking at invites?

2-order invites?

3-send out invites?

4-put as RSVP date? (final head count due to hall on June 19)

1. Begin looking as soon as you can. Invites was by hard the HARDEST thing for me to choose.

2. Order them once you're sure of everything: the style, the dates, the quantity you'll need, etc. You can order them by the end of this year or the beginning of next.

3. Send them out 10 weeks in advance...since it's a holiday weekend.

3. Make your RSVP date at least 4 weeks before the final headcount. You WILL get late RSVP's.

This is what I did, hope it helps (also a holiday weekend bride):

1. Began looking as soon as I got engaged...I loke paper a lot and had a tough time!

2. Ordered them 2/7/05

3) Mailed them out 3/18/05

4) RSVP date 4/18/05; wedding date 5/27/05
