1) For the girls that got there dress there, who would you recommend to do my alterations? Not sure if there is more than one person, but if there is I would like to know ahead of time so I can request her.
2) Does anyone know if Lilette's would order a dress from a designer that they don't necessarily carry? Example, I know they used to carry Justin Alexander dresses but they no longer carry them, but if I wind up deciding on a Justin dress, will they still order it for me and do the alterations? I really loved my visit there and working with Gerri so I would definitely want to order with them when the time comes.

I don't know about alterations, as my dress hasn't come in yet.
As for designers, I'm not sure if they can order a dress for a designer they don't carry. I know they can order ANY dress from designers they DO carry, but not sure about the ones they don't. Why not call Gerri and ask?

I don't think they can get the dress for you if they don't carry the designer.... i say this b/c i asked them to order BM dresses for me (they carry JH Occasions and that is what we picked). they said they could not order that specific dress because they chose not to carry that 'season' even tho they carry other 'season' of that designer.

I am not sure about alterations my dress has not come in yet.....I think they do order designers if they do not carry them because they told me with my FlowerGirl Dresses I could order any designer through them....Call Geri and ask her she is awsome I went to her and she is a doll.

I had Angela for my alterations. VERY nice but hardly speaks any English -- which is not an issue in terms of her talent, but if you have a lot of questions, it can be. However, if you speak Turkish, you're good :)
Also, I don't know if you can select your seamstress. I didn't have a choice, but then again, I didn't try, either.

Ok I just called and asked them.
They can only order bridal gowns from designers that they carry the samples in store. So in my case, if I happen to like one of the Justin Alexander gowns, they wouldn't be able to order it for me because they don't carry that line...
