I have a 2br co-op in Bayside Queens. Just moved in after selling my old 1br co-op in October.
Definitely cannot move for another 1 1/2 years for capital gains tax purposes. Down the road will probably look for a house.

We own the house my husband grew up in.
No plans to move but if we could make $$$$ there, we talk/joke about moving to SC (my mom is there) or I've been joking about moving to go work at Walt Disney World!!

Upper West Side of Manhattan Rent PLanning to move soon (in the next few months) to a bigger place either here or on the upper east side. When I have a baby, I will probably move to the burbs to be closer to my mom.

If so, what areas are you looking at? Should we decide to move, we'd be looking in Huntington (Huntington Bay, Lloyd Harbor, Lloyd Neck) or Cold Spring Harbor - We truly love this area and Huntington Village.

West Islip Bought my house in 1998 Might move somewhere in Suffolk - FH thinks we need a bigger house, but I refinanced and I only have 14 years left on the mortgage, so we might expand instead.
