I posted earlier today that I booked my make up. FMIL made some comments that are making me doubt whether I look good or not. I really want you all to be honest. I know LIW is famous for people BSing each other that something looks good and is beautiful. It makes me laugh that sometimes we can be sooo mean about petty things but when someone is asking an opinion its always 'beautiful, fabulous, and wonderful'
I don't know what she's talking about - I think the makeup looks great! what did she say about it??

i swear im always very honest with make up trials, bc i think a girl deserves to know the truth. How you look that day will be important.
I like it, very pretty,however i normally like lighter lipstick for wedding day so maybe a lighter lip color and darker on the eyes. In person sometimes it can look like a lot but in pics its the opposite, i think eyes will stand out more if theres a tiny bit more make up, otherwise the eyeshadow used is very pretty.

I love your eye makeup. I agree that maybe the lips should be a little more neutral and maybe not as glossy. That's just my preference though-not into a really glossy lip. You look great though. I'm being totally honest btw!

Your eyes look great but like everyone said lighten up on the lip color. Maybe go for a more pinkish color
your eyes look amazing, but the lips are a little off to me. try a different color or a little less gloss or something.

thank you so much for your honest opinions. I really do appreciate it.
I may not wear anything on my lips at all. My lips are pretty big to begin with and i dont think any shade of lipstick ever looks good.

i would change the lipstick i also think the blush maybe..it makes you look a bit red i love the eyes though!!

look at my before picture... i think my cheeks are just as red there. so it's kinda just natural for me.

no dont feel that way, a nice light gloss will look great on you. I have big lips too and yes i cant wear darker colors bc of it, thats why i mentioned a lighter color for you. But when i wear clear or very light pink glosses its fine, you'll look beautiful with a very light color don't worry.

I agree with most everyone else... maybe something a little more natural for your lip color... but I like your eyes... are you getting married during the day or at night? The only thing I could think of doing differently is maybe making them a little darker for a dramatic look if you're getting married at night...but I really think they look good!!

Then I think it is perfect!!! I'm getting married during the day as well and I know I won't want my makeup to be overly dramatic. I'm definitely going to go for something more natural.
The real question is whether or not you are happy!! If you're unsure go for a second trial. That way you'll have two people to choose from and you'll know you made the right choice.

Also, most importantly, did you love your trial? at the end of the day its you who is supposed to look in the mirror and love your look
