Question about marriage license..Plz help!

What types of ID do we need? According to the NYS website we need to bring a birth certificate and driver's license. According to the NYC City Clerk's office website, it seems like you only need 1 ID and it can be a driver's license or passport. Has anyone obtained the marriage license in NYC?? TIA!

I guess every clerk office operates diffirently. for my friends all they needed was one form of ID NYS ID/driver's license/passport
nothing else

I went to the Queens courthouse on Queens blvd...all we needed was our drivers license...I had out baptismal certificates with me also...but they never asked for that.
