Re: Question about menus at the reception...
We're using one per guest and adding their names at the top so that the menu doubles as the placecard!!

curious, how would this work? Would the guest pick it up upon entry to the reception-as they would a typical placecard? or would it be at the table already set/

the menu with their name would be at their seat for when they arrive at the table.
the cards that tell them which table to go to (usually found outside the room) is called an escort card...the card at the table which tells them the seat is the placecard...i think

Re: Question about menus at the reception...
I've been to weddings where a table that big might have one at each end (two all together). My cousin did hers like this and put them in a nice frame so it stands up on the table. She also had like 30 tables maybe. . . . with that many people i think it might get costly to give everyone their own. . . but its up to you

Re: Question about menus at the reception...
I am making my own and was thinking the same question. A wedding I went to recently had a three sided stand up menu that was the same thing on all three sides. It was towards the center of the table (round) so almost all could see it. Not sure how I'd make that, but the thought of doing one for every single guest is making me anxious!

we're probably going to have tables of 10-12 and roughly 250-300 guests. I'm DIYing the menus and will print 2 or 4 menus per 8.5x11 page to save paper...so they'll be cute little menus..nothing fancy..i don't think it should be too expensive...

you are having assigned seats-I get it now All the weddings I have been to just had placecards/escort cards /whatever you want to call them-and it said the TAble they sit at...nothing that tells them what seat they have to sit at

Re: Question about menus at the reception...
Flowerfields provides the menus for us. We are going to have 2 per table in a frame... I am just going with that than having to make my own
