I dont know the story but for some reason shes blocked. Something happened just not clear to the story...
She is AMAZING! She does both hair and makeup She is $150 for the trial (both hair and makeup) and she takes her time with you and gives you different looks. Shes got a FANTASTIC personality and really makes you feel comfortable.
The day of she is $400.

There was a post within the past few days about her. Some brides had some negative experiences, and there were comments about her tardiness. Try going back through the past 5 days, you should find it.

$400 for hair and makeup for the bride or for each person including the mother of the bride and bridesmaids?
That's a bit steep if it is per person..

There have been some negative posts about her lately but they have all been pulled. IMO she is a little bit pricey.

Yes I read some very unprofessional things the past few weeks about her =X. She seemed to do good work from pics but is apparently unreliable. I guess its useless to book a great artist if you are not sure she will show.

Shes an artist $400 is truly not a ridiculous notion. You go a salon and its USUALLY about $150 for the bride for hair OR MORE. Ive called places where Bride is $200 and EACH GIRL pays a $50 CHARGE for having the salon open early... THEN you have to tip. NOW you move on to the makeup artist and they are anywhere from $100-$175 for the day of plus tip. In reality its not bad. I checked about 4-5 different salons in my area and others and those were the prices I got.
And I dont know if any of you know what its like to have a bad trial, its a HORRIBLE experience. I had 3 bad trials and cried each time and became more and more frustrated.
I respect what a makeup artist does because its the most important day of your life do you want to turn around and look OK for that day? Or do you want to take people's breath away? THATS what a makeup artist does. THey are not even working on a canvas they are working on someones face with features and people who have their own style and already have an image in their head and they are trying to MATCH THAT. So to me, for someone who RESPECTS makeup and LOVES makeup, who can do makeup, when you find someone good GO WITH IT! No matter the cost! This is the one day you need to be stunning! And of course there are people are may have different prices, you go with who your comfortable with, but dont just book someone because they are cheaper. make sure they are BETTER.

ITA. I've been looking and I've gotten prices in this range and HIGHER!!
M*I*A is great!!! She's working the contracts. She's in the middle of wedding season and it's very hectic, but her work is great.

she was blocked a long time ago on here, and not because of negative comments so just want to clarify that. I know there was a few recent ones recently but that is not the reason she is blocked on this site. It was for soliciting business, when you are a vendor you can't do this on this site, well only on the vendors only forum.

I just wanted to add that we were lucky enough to have Mi@ and Theresa at a friend's wedding last week and they were both professional and perfect!
So some people have good experiences and some bad...mine was great. I'm having Mi@ for both hair and makeup for my wedding!
