Question about MOB dresses

Question about MOB dresses

My mother just started looking (online) at MOB dresses. We want to look at Cameron Blake and Montage. How do the stores allow you to try on MOB dresses? Do they have them in every size? I'm just thinking that for wedding dresses, they have a size 14 and then they just clip the extra material if you're smaller. How do you try on a MOB dress?

We are going to start at RK Bridal since its close. Has anyone bought a MOB dress there?

Oh, and if anyone knows the approximate price ranges for Cameron Blake and Montage, that would be great!

TIA

Re: Question about MOB dresses

Bridal shops usually on have samples in one size this is for wedding gowns as well as MOB dresses.

Re: Question about MOB dresses

When My mom and I went looking all of the dresses were in either a size 10 or 12 and unfortunately that wasn't helping her. It is hard because the backs aren't made to open as wide as a wedding dresses so there were a few she wanted to try but couldn't
I think my mom will either have to have her dress made for her and try Bloomingdales or something like that.

I don't get why places do that.

Re: Question about MOB dresses

My mom and I went shopping.

It was horrible. We went to the maill to EVERY store in Garden State plaza. Macys, Lord and Taylor, Nordstroms...nothing.

She needed a size 24W and some store dont even carry them above a 16W.

We ended up going to a bridal shop that had an AMAZING selection. She had a ton of dresses to try on, and got PAMPERED!!

I suggest going toa bridal salon and just get something there. Plus your mom gets the experience of getting helped with her dress, and getting the whole experience too!

But if you are looking for larger sizes the department stores are no good.
