I have a question about moving. I just moved to Bellmore from Lynbrook and I already changed my address with the post office and sent in the paper work to change my drivers liscence and my registration. Other than all the companies that I pay bills too, who else do I have to notify about my move? Thanks, Scott

sometimes magazines and such don't get forwarded...it's good to notify them personally over the phone.
Oh...and doctors and such!

Yeah I will have to tell me doctors when I make an appointment with them...I dont have to call them now Do I?
What about for taxes, Do I have to notify anyone for that...and also Social Security, I dont have to notify them do I? Thanks

no you don't have to change anything w/ss or taxes. they'll find you. i assume you told your employer and your bank so that should be enough as far as taxes go. also once you start getting mail at your new place anything that's been forwarded will have a yellow label on it and then you can figure out who else you need to inform.

you can go to the post office and fill out one of those change of address things...and then your mail will be forwarded to you for a period of time

I cannot change my address at my bank until I get my new drivers liscence. They want something that has my new address on it as proof. I wonder if I can use mail or a bill or something.
