Do you bring pics of what you would like, do you tell them what you were thinking, Or do you just let them 'work their magic'?

Re: Question about MU trials
Well I actually had 3 (long story)...the first one I went in cold not knowing what to expect. I let her decide what colors, etc. to use. To be honest that was my least fave trial.
Next I went to someone else & told her what I didn't like from the previous trial & I brought pics of styles I liked and I really like what she did.
Today I brought in pics & showed her my previous trials & she asked me the colors of the girls' dresses & if my hair will be 'this' color, etc., etc. & she used the colors she thought would be best.

Re: Question about MU trials
I brought a pic from a bridal magazine w/me. it was actually an advertisement for tiaras lol
the model in the pic was wearing very neutral colors and I love how her eyes looked. I have to say, Jillian did an amazing job duplicating that look!
it definitely helps to bring a picture IMO

Re: Question about MU trials
I let her pick her colors and just told her that I like definition around the eyes and wasn't scared of makeup. I wanted it to show in pics without being too heavy and I'd trust her experience in that area. The only thing I didn't love was the lipstick but I have plenty of my own that I will use and it'll make it easier. I booked her on the spot but I had Maximus do my makeup for my MOH wedding and liked it so it gave me an idea of what I wanted for my own wedding (Maximus wanted FAR TOO much $$). If you are unsure have a few trials and pics never hurt- just remember that it'll look a little heavier in person and listen to your MU artist.
