So I went to view my dress yesterday. Have to lose about 1/2' to get it to zip up all the way (plan/hope/pray to lose much more). It looks way more fitted in the bodice when zipped up, and will be zipped to my bosom.
Thinking of adding detachable cap sleeves. What do you think?
I don't think you should add a sleeve at all - looks great as is
I think your hair would look great down

Re: Question About My Dress (with Pics)
I feel like my arms look too fat/flabby, and a small cap sleeve would hide that a little?

Re: Question About My Dress (with Pics)
ITA w/everyone else, no sleeves. the dress is so beutiful as is, and u have plenty of time to lose the necessary weight (my cousin went on a diet 7 weeks before her wedding and lost 12lbs - so its totally doable)
and ur hands look good, dont see any extra flabbiness

I vote for no cap sleeve. I think it would draw attention to the area rather than hide it......Plus I think you look great in the dress as is.

IMO no cap sleeves. I am planning on loosing weight as well. Just use the dress as your motivation...Thats what I do, when I'm tired and don't want to work out....But I manage to get up (most of the time) and burn a those calories :) p.s. you're arms arent flabby!!!
Hair up and curly might be nice! You're dress is beautiful!!!

I don't want to be on my own island but I really think a cap sleeve would change the whole look of the dress... might make it more vintage if you like that. (which I do!)

If I did the cap sleeves, they would be detachable, so I could get both options going on.
I am attaching pictures I found on this site, cap sleeves would be like this...
I vote no on the cap sleeves; you look gorg as is!

Thank you - very sweet. Not feeling gorg yet, but working on it. Seeing a trainer twice a week now.

I agree with no cap sleeves, but if you really prefer cap sleeves and will feel less self-conscious, then go for it. Getting detachable ones might put your mind at ease and you won't have to use them if you don't want to. Your hair would look great either way.

Re: Question About My Dress (with Pics)
I love cap sleeves, but I'm partial (my dress has them, pics in my album). Your dress is beautiful but you have to do what makes you comfortable!! It will be beautiful no matter what!
