One thing I WOULD consider though is that all of the text is in one block. Is there one line you can take out to give a space between the introductory info and the date, just to add some white space?

They're great the way they are, but if it were me, I might either make the names font smaller, or cut out 'as they begin their lives together' to create a line of space before the date.
ETA: I looked and I guess I wouldn't because mine don't have a space there. LOL

i think it' fine. i like how the focus is on your names. i think bigger fonts would take away from the names or look too crowded.
