Question about Nassau County law.

I am still over a year away from my wedding, and am thinking I want to change my reception site. I think I've heard on here that Suffolk county has a law that you can cancel a contract with a reception site if the date is still over a year away. Does anyone know if Nassau has a similar law or if there's some way I can find out??

Any help is appreciated....I'm REALLY panicking!!!!!
