so i just saw the other post on here about negotiating, and i was wondering if anyone had done any negotiating with patken. honestly, i think they gave me a really great price, but any lil bit helps

i i was there yesterday meeting with the owner (it was my second time meeting with patken because i had some other questions/doubts). i went with dad and FH and we sat thru the whole schpiel (sp?) and seemed kinda unsure. as we were walking out, he asked if there was any sort of incentive he could give us to book with them. i guess that was the point where we could've negotiated.
so my point is to seem uninterested, even if you are and then they will try harder to get you to book. if you express interest, they know that they've got you!

I was able to negotiate a lot with them...Not so much on price, but on things that they could add...like more pics in the albums

We negotiated with our photographer by saying we could get a better price elsewhere (We did our research for weeks before actually going) and just pushed and pushed 'til we all agreed on a price. We ended up getting the package for about 700 less!
