Hi girls I have a question about flowers...haven't been to any florists yet, but planning to in the next few weeks. I'm on the fence about ordering floral CPs vs. DIY CPs - I'm guessing CPs vs. no CPs will make a really big difference in price, is that true? Also, since we don't have an exact count is it OK to give the florist a rough guess as to how many CPs you will need?? Thanks in advance!

Re: Question about ordering centerpieces...
I gave the florist a rough amount. They are charging us based on 18-20 ctr pieces. If there is more or less we will discuss two weeks before the wedding and the final bill will be adjusted if needed. I didn't go to over board w/ CP's. I am using a lot of pilar candles so they created CP's that will go around that. I think there can be a big difference in price depending on what you used for your DIY.

Rough amount is all you can really give until you have a final head count and the # of tables.

Re: Question about ordering centerpieces...
I told my florist what my Min. # of guests would be and he estimated it based on that. You defiantly do not have to give an exact head count.

Re: Question about ordering centerpieces...
I originally was going to do DIY centerpieces also but then I decided to check out some florists. I booked Designs by Rose and I'm getting an awesome deal that it wouldn't be worth the DIY route. I ordered a minimum number of centerpieces, but am not held down by that - the number of flowers can increase or decrease from what the contract states...I just have to give her the final three weeks before the wedding when she orders the flowers.
FM me if you want more info.
