question about out of state weddings ...

i have been to two out of state weddings ... and it just seems like they spend less money, less stress and less time planning their wedding.

Ok so here's the question: would you trade your big fat NY wedding for a simple small out of state wedding?

Now i know for me i grew up in NY and have been planning my big fat NY wedding since i was about 5 sooo this is a hard question for me! buttt i dont know ... they just seem to not go over board, stay a lot more calm, not have to deal with as many money issues ... sooo if i really think about it ... i wonder what my small simple north caronlina wedding would have been like HAHA buttt i know that the wedding im having now is going to be amazing and i dont think i would trade that for anything!

I wouldn't change a thing.
If we had a smaller family and network of lifelong friends we would have done the whole 'garden wedding' theme of 75 people, but it was completely impossible.
Our engagement party had 150 people invited, and thats the closest people!! Our wedding will probably have 250 invited. Yikes..
But we want to celebrate with EVERYBODY and we're having a blast planning it. So its all good
