Question about Parties

Got a question for you girls that hosted at home parties. (ie pampered chef, tupperware, etc).

My Mom's (MIL and MOB) both want me to host a tupperware party once we get into our new place.

I would love to but is it going to be a lot of money out of my pocket to host a party?

Also, I know I can get at least 10, but how many is too many for an at home party?

Does anybody have any tupperware recomendations?

Not at all! Just get some juice/soda/cofffee/tea along with some cookies and cheese/crackers. If you dont want to wash dishes when all is said and done, get paper plates/cups/silverware from dolar store!

I think the prep of the house is the most 'aggrivating'! UGh!

ok cool! I will def. contact you once I'm ready.

I could totally just do juice but my crowd (my lovely friends & family) are drinkers. We have them over its like $50 in beer and then liquor stuff.

SOMETIMES I HATE BEING IRISH! hehehe
totally kidding, Love being Irish.

Yikes! But I can relate w/ DH's friends and football games! What if you ask each person to bring a little something, or if you're being 'pushed' by others, maybe see if they can bring some of the drinks, so you're not burdened w/ it all

Re: Question about Parties

I hosted a Tupperware party awhile ago, it really isn't much out of pocket. You just get a few snacks to munch on, they bring the rest. In fact, the woman I used brought some snacks that we made using the Tupperware!! It was awesome, I'll give you her info if you want.

Then you get a lot of free stuff bc you're the host, plus whatever credit you earn from sales made at your party. It depends on the size of your place but I'd say anywhere btw 10-20 should be fine. HTH!!

I used to sell Tupperware for a few years. Some people go craxy and serve meaks, but ideally, you could havesome chips and dip and you will be fine. BTW, the stuff is great - sells itself. I have just about everything they make.
