question about payment

do u have to pay your catering hall in cash or check before the wedding or can you charge it?

It should say on your contract.

Mine says cash or money order or certified check. It can be a personal check as long as its 2 weeks before.... im not sure about charging it.

I know from your other post your situation and wanted to give you a
You can take out a cash advance on the credit card if the hall wont let you charge it.

Our final payment has to be in cash or bank check (it is due 2 days b4)

awh thanks!

i just thought that getting a new credit card would allow us to charge the hall....just figured that we would be able to charge it....

my contract says cash or check 48 hours before......does that mean no charge?

Here's the scoop with Giorgio's (as per the Banquet Contract)...The balance (Final payment) must be paid 48 hours in advance and must be cash or cert. check.

So I think you're good up until 48 hours before with the credit card, right?

I dont see why not! Maybe if you have some cash for that day you can hold off on giving them EVERY penny.. but really at this point whats the difference?? you might as well give it all ! lol
