Are they supposed to upset your stomach so much? Are there more then one kind out there that I could have my Dr. switch me to? TIA

Re: Question about pre-natal vitamins?
Sometimes they do bother your stomach. It could be getting use to it or you may have to switch. There are plenty out there so if you're having problems you should contact your doctor and ask for a new one.

Thank you very much I have only been on them for 4 days. Maybe I will wait to see if it goes away. I just wanted to make sure it was normal

Re: Question about pre-natal vitamins?
I am taking them and not even married yet. Just good planning. But my doc told me: 1. Lots of different types so if one bothers your stomach -- call and tell him and they can change them. 2. Try taking with a meal.

The bothered me in the beginning too. I started to take them at night before I went to bed, and that solved the problem for me.

I had the worst time with them. My doctor kept switching me and the only thing to work so far are Flintstones chewables.

Re: Question about pre-natal vitamins?
What kind of pre-nats are you taking? I was taking GNC and they really upset my stomach.. Then I switched to a CVS brand that was fine... Now my dr. gave me Citrical which is also easy on my stomach... Good Luck

At the beginning they bothered me, but I started to taking them after breakfast and now I do not feel anything bad at all. Hope you feel better with yours.

I take the Target store brand. I take them after I eat breakfast and they don't bother me at all.

Re: Question about pre-natal vitamins?
I went from taking two a day (as per the instructions), to one a day, to none bc they make me SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ill. If I get pregnant, I will talk to my OB/GYN about a prescription bc I can't handle it.
