Has anyone every won any of these 'prizes' at a bridal expo. I went to the bridal expo at the LI Marriott and won a $200 GC towards any laser hair removal or skin rejuvination package from American Laser. However, I have to go in and meet with someone to receive my GC. Today I received a phonecall from a really nice woman at 21st Century Concepts saying I had won free hotel accomodations for 3 days/2 nights, a $500 GC to World of America Online Gift Catalogue and a 40% discount on cookware at 21st Cetury Concepts. (This was from the Millerridge Inn expo) However, I again have to go and claim my GC's tomorrow. Has anyone else ever won this type of stuff? Is it valid. My fiance is skeptical that they are just trying to sell something..... what do you all think?

Do a search on here, pretty much everyone who goes to a bridal show 'wins' a vacation, or hotel package from 21st Century. It's pretty much a scam to get you to go look at their products. I guess if you're willing to sit through it it's fine, but I've heard that the hotels aren't great.
ETA: Royal Prestige does the same type of thing. I've never heard of the hair removal place. I think if you win something at the bridal show, and you're the only one who actually wins, and gets up to accept the prize it's pretty much a valid prize. If it's the kind of thing where they call you at a later time, chances are everyone is winning.

Your gc for hair removal won't cover that much. I doubt it will even cover one treatment and you usually need 6.

I got a phone call from Ramada suites yesterday telling me that I won a trip to the bahamas (caller id said it was ramamda too) but he said do you remember signing up for the contest I was like no and he goes well that is ok.
I didnt give anyone my # b/c i am so sick and tired of the phone calls all day and night so I am thinking they just got my # from the promoters of the expo.
I also got the centruy 21 phone a while back after i todl them i wasnt interested they are still calling since december.
