My FMIL offered to pay for the rehersal dinner last night and asked were we want to have it. I haven't really put much thought into it yet and I think its still too early to call the restaurants but I was hoping some of you may be able to help me get an idea of what we can expect.
We are getting married in St. Mary's in East Islip so we would want a restaurant nearby. Has anyone gotten any RD quotes from restaurants in the East Islip/Islip area? TIA

I booked Shandon Court a year before our RD.
$47.50 per person (that includes, tax, grad, open bar, 4 course meal)
It's never to early to plan!!!!

I have not looked into rd in that area but I did go to a place on Main Street called the milk & sugar cafe - food, fondue, it was really nice - worth looking into.

That sounds like a great deal...this restaurant is right by FH's grandmother's house but I have never noticed it...thanks for the info

hey hun we are getting married at the same church! we are having our RD at Capt Bills in Bay shore....we are paying about 30 pp, we also looked at the Beachtree right next door and the Irish Coffee Pub....Coffee pub was a bit expensive i dont remember Beachtree Tho sorry!!

From my research, the average is $30.00-$45.00. The higher the cost, the more alcohol included usually. HTH.
