Question about readings...

Where can we find readings for someone to do at the ceremony?? We asked mybrother to do a reading..but I don't know where to look for them. Is there a book? Or a website that has some? Can you post what readings you are doing if you are doing them? Thanks so much!

ETA: We are getting married at our hall.

At Pre-Cana you are given a Together for Life book that has the readings you can choose from. If you didn't get one, you can always ask the rectory and they can get you one.

are you getting married in a church or other place of worship.. if so, your clergy person should guide you with this...

for example, at a catholic ceremony there are very specific readings... you can choose them, but they must be one from old testament, one from new, and one from the book of psalms...

if you're getting married at a hall or it's non-religious, i suppose you can do whatever you want! perhaps a poem, a song, a bible verse you like, etc.
