question about registering

FH and I registered at Fortunoff yesterday. We did a lot of the big things but need to go back to tweek things and such..

did anyone (Who doesnt already live with FH) find it hard to register for certain items?

FH and I were looking at table linens and just decided to skip it, not knowing what our table size or shape will be we didnt know what to get. We had this same issue with a few items

yeah we didnt do table linens, curtains bedroom stuff cause we dont know where we r living yet how big anything will be and what colors the walls will be lol thats all stuff you can get after, put the big stuff u really want and the little stuff u really need!!

you can also add and remove stuff online from your registry! i do it all the time

I live with FH but we are planning on moving next summer (buying an apt instead of renting right now).

I have the same problem with what color towels, since I won't know what my new bathroom is....

If you aren't sure your table size, maybe just register for placemats, napkins, etc. and you can get your own tablecloth once you know the size.

Oooh - interesting. I never thought about that kind of thing....but you're right! I have no idea what our colors, etc. will be....

I didn't do anything that is a 'changable' item. I just did pots, pans, knives, dishes, silverware, baking needs, coffee/expresso machine, etc.

Mostly tools of the kitchen. Fh lives on his own and I hav elived in my own in the past but both of our stuff is cheap and needs to replaced so it works out that way.

We are moving in with each other probably in two to three months once we get some money together. Maybe then I will add towels and some bathroom stuff but honestly that stuff is cheap enough to buy myself and would be needed before the shower.

We have no idea what colors we will go with either in a house so we did neutral dishes and linens, or things that matched our apt now (since we wont be buying until a year after we are married)

FH wanted a dyson vacuume (like he ever touches the vacuume- haha) but I took it off the registry A)b/c its and (B) b/c I dont know if we wil need an upright or canister depending on if our house had wood floors
