Why do you have to bring the hat that was made at your bridal shower? Anyone know the tradition? Silly question, but I was just wondering why it is done. TY.

Re: question about rehearsal dinner
You don't HAVE to. It's just something people do sometimes, only if you want to. The bow hat that was made at your shower, some girls carry it at the actual rehearsal when they walk down the aisle, as the pretend bouquet. I wanted to , but mine actually got mixed in with all the wrapping paper and bags at my shower and got thrown out, oh well.
Really it's not a big deal, just one of those cute traditions some girls take part it in if they want to.

Oh, so you actually carry it when you practice walking down the isle. My BM's actually made me a bouquet, so I'm going to bring that, instead of that huge hat I got!

I am surprised to see how many people never heard of this. Either I am old or it really isn't popular anymore.
