Question About Reviews and Recommending Vendors

This one is for all you 'already married' ladies.

I have been thinking about doing a review... ONCE MY PICS COME IN...

The thing is - I have been giving some thought to vendors that I used. And some of them were fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. SOME of them were not so great and I wouldn't have recommended them whole heartedly at any point.

Now here is the question. There are some vendors - on in particular - that I was very enthusiastic about during the process and even the day of. But after all was said and done and I really am sitting here trying to determine if I would recommend this person freely. It's only after some time and space that I have really had the chance to think about the whole thing, review some correspondence and realize that I don't think I was completely happy with this vendor.

Does anyone else have a vendor or provider that you initially thought was great - but after some thought you realize they weren't all that fantastic?

Yes, and I have like a 'pre-wedding' grade, a 'day of' grade and an 'after the wedding' grade on a couple. I don't like the whole A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ thing because I think it makes each vendor's grade less meaningful (THAT IS JMO!! ) , so I started with A+ being the 'most amazing, perfect' and then I graded each one accordingly and if there were ones that after I thought about it for a while I wanted to lower their grade, I did, and I put a full explanation as to WHY I felt that way. On ones I kinda felt like, “Well, they did what they were supposed to, and did a good job, but now that I think about it they could have treated me better” for whatever reason, I gave like a “B” and then just explained why. You could even write what you’re saying here like, “I thought I was really happy with this vendor, BUT…”

I have no idea if this really answers your question… and I don’t know if I believe you that you’ll post pics….
