Did you guys call everyone that you did not hear from or did you just put them down as not coming. I am so overwhelmed with this whole wedding thing and tracking people down is the last thing I want to do. I addressed the return envelope from them back to me and even put a stamp on it. All they had to do was check off their rsponse and drop it in the mail.

Re: question about RSVP
We made some calls a week and a half after our RSVP date, and my FMIL made some calls to ppl on my FH's side. I know...ppl are remarkable aren't they !! What I want to know is what did they do with the stamps?? lol

Re: question about RSVP
I would definitely call or even send people a text. I did that for most that were missing. I think the only ones I didn't call were two people from work that I never expected to come anyway. One had told me right away that he probably wouldn't come and the other never mentioned it. Then last night as I couldn't sleep the thought occured that me that maybe her invite got lost in the mail. 5 days to the wedding and I was in a panick! I'm assuming I would have heard that, but I did have two invites that got lost.

Re: question about RSVP
I would definitely call and ask. The invitation could have gotten lost in the mail or the RSVP card could have gotten lost on the way back to you (happened to me twice). Also, I know some of my family members were on the fence because of family drama and they didn't want to make things worse or some people had loved ones that passed away and just had a lot of other things going on. So sometimes people are lazy and sometimes there might be something wrong so I would definitely call or email.

Re: question about RSVP
I would like to have an exact count within the next 2 weeks so if they do not RSVP by then too bad for them I am way over anyway and I have a waiting list of people dying to come. Why are people so difficult.

This is what I did for RSVP delinquents: I told them all very nicely that the reception hall needed my final count by end of tomorrow. I wouldn't be able to make any changes after that so if I didn't hear from them by end of tomorrow, my reception hall would count them as a no. Now, of course this was not true but it was the ONLY way to get a response.

Im not calling anyone if it was left up to me they would all be no's, so my mom and FMIL w/b doing this job.

I plan to call. Especially if they are close firends/family.
