Ok, we weren't going to do them originally but I've realized FH has quite a bit of family that is OOT. So, I'm going to have about 20 or so made. My question is, do we have to put the last names on it?

On the magnet or whatever you are sending?

I don't think so. Unless you think the people won't recognize them.

If you want to just put your first names on the STD, maybe have custom address labels made with both your names, first and last, for the envelope.

I did for a few reasons

1 ) not everyone who is invited has met us as a couple.
2) not everyone knows we're engaged yet (we're kinda using them as an announcement as well)
3) There are more than one person with his first name in his family (but they have different last names).

Ok, I think maybe I will put our full names on the envelopes, that's a great idea...

I didn't get our last names on ours and the only one I have gotten in my life didn't have last names on them

If they are mostly going to family, you probably don't have to put last names.

i dont think you have to, ive seen ones with and without and i think its entirely your preference
