question about seating chart

im having such a hard time with my seating chart and need some help...where are you guys putting your close friends that you see very often but that are not in the bridal party ??

we have 2 tables by our love dais and wanted to mix everyone (friends) with our bridal party so we would have 12 people on each side...does that look bad that i have my friends closer to me then my family

I agree . . esp if your family is helping pay for the wedding. . they should kind of have positions of honor too..

to put things in perspective. . when you are at your table you will prob not even socialize with anyone and you will be up and moving around the rest of the time so it wont matter as much as you think it might. . .

your other option would be to not have those two closest to the dais and then those four in front would be perfect for mixing family and BP

You can do BP at A&B or family at A&B and whomever else you want close to you at 1234...

Re: question about seating chart

Lands End seating was different (there were a lot of tables on our side of the dance floor) but I put all my friends in the front and front side around the dance floor. I figured they were going to have the best time, and it was a good plan. They were all up dancing so everyone else was. My parents and FH's parents were on the dance floor across from us and their friends and family around them going back.

I put the BP right near me and then we had 3 parents tables because of divorce....Also try not to put old people near the DJ....
