If my dress is satin should I be getting satin/shiny shoes or can I just get plain white? Is it that noticeable? And if my dress is light ivory can I get away with leaving them the color they are or would I have to dye them? Thanks!!

Re: Question about shoes
If your dress is ivory, I would definitely dye them. See if you can get a swatch of your dress and try to find a shoe that is all ready ivory.

I didn't go crazy with this. Your shoes are going to be invisible most of the day!

Re: Question about shoes
I can't really get a swatch bc the dress won't be coming in until 2 months before when I do the fitting(and I'll need the shoes). To me the dress looks white bc it's a very light ivory so I think it will be hard to find an ivory that color. I can't even find a picture through the manufacturer bc it's an older dress.

Re: Question about shoes
The general rule with shoes is that they can be darker than the dress, but never lighter. I'd get them dyed the lightest ivory you can find and it'll either match or be just a tad darker. I would NOT wear white shoes with an ivory dress, JMO. It will make your dress look like it's dirty.
