question about silk dresses

Ok I have a wedding to go to this Sunday, so any Riviera girls keep an eye out for a review on Monday. Anyways, I went to look at dresses yesterday , tried a couple on and of course like always there are problems with the dress, something isn't right lol. Well the girl told me she had a dress she thinks would be perfect, she shows it to me and I loved the dress just didn't really want that thin silk material bc thought it would show every bump. Well i try it on and it fits fine, only thing is that it goes a little lower in the back, not anything crazy of course but I HAVE to wear a bra and not sure how low the backstrap can go while still supporting me very well on top so i said ill return tomorrow with a bra i have that it might work with.

Ok so im going today, and i was thinking about the dress when it hit me, isn't it true that with that fabric if you sweat even a little bit that it will show right through the dress. We'll be outside for ceremony and CH and on top of that we're gonna be dancing...I saw this happen once to a girl BADLY!!!!!!! and im terrified since then.

Anyone have any info, experience, thoughts whatever lol. Maybe i should run around before i try it on so i can sweat before i try it on

yeah see thats what i think too, and i don't know if i want to take that chance..the dress is gorgeous and such a beautiful color but not worth being the girl with the sweat stains all over lol

depending on how or if its treated any liquid will not only show very quickly but stain!

my mom made me a silk dress for a sweet16 and i had huge rings under my arms it was terrible - it was a light green dress.

Thank you Yeah i saw alot i liked that were $300 and up but i dont want to spend that much for a wedding im attending, if i had to it would be different but its on a sunday and if that were the case i might as well a dress i already have.

Other problem, i have the worst luck with finding dresses lol but hopefully i'll find something lol

I sweat alot, i hate the heat, and if i wore that, and i was sitting outside for a ceremony, when i got up the whole thing would be soaked and everyone would see, and it would be soaked around my butt area i am sure really really bad

its also chiffon but mostly silk, i know its funny bc honestly i never even look at silk dresses, not a big fan but for some reason I love this one...oh well gotta keep looking

yeah one time i felt SOOOOOOOOOOO bad for this one girl...Very pretty young girl too, and she had on this dress and from the front she had sweat stains under her breast then she turned around and she had a ring of sweat around her butt and then a line going down her spine, i was like OMG ...like i said she was very pretty and had an amazing body so everyone kept looking at her like and she would just smile bc i think she thought everyone was checking her out

I would be too paranoid to wear a ligh colored silk dress no matter how much I loved it. My MOH sweats alot and she had a beautiful fushcia silk dress she wore to a party and the sweat stains were awful and so embarrassing. She had to leave early

yeah plus I dance ALOT...Fh is staying over my house so after work i meet with him and go to my house so i told him to come with me to see the dress, well i said this yesterday...he called before and I said forget it I CANT buy that dress lol
